Winners of the 2018 Best In Vancouver tournament, Major Fantasy’s influences include Zeppelin, Bowie, the Beatles, and the Who. Formed in early 2016, Major Fantasy consists of old friends reconnecting nearly a decade after secondary school with the sole goal of crafting and performing great songs. Consistently packing bars in downtown Vancouver, Major Fantasy took that next step and released their debut self-titled album on September 4th, 2020. With over 15,000 listeners and 2,000 saves so far on Spotify, people are starting to groove to the tunes all over! 

The flamboyant makeup and powerful vocals of openly-gay singer Mike Gordon serving as a focal point, Kevin Gordon’s virtuosic guitar skills are also on full display throughout every song. Mike Tull provides Bonham-esque drums that ebb and flow with the emotion of each moment while Eric Miller provides sparkling melodies in B3 organ and electric piano. Not to be outdone, Ryan Stokes provides rich tones and precision perfect solos from rhythm guitar while Steven Tuerlings lays down one groovy bass line after another.
